Healthy Steps for a Healthy Mind, Heart and Soul

  • Texas Womens University - Hubbard Hall

This spring, Denton Community Health Clinic will have a benefit luncheon and fashion show, “Healthy Steps for a Healthy Mind, Heart and Soul”, starring individuals drawn from our community.  We are going to recognize those who have taken real steps to improve their health, whether by weight loss, exercise or just getting control of their medical conditions.  We will be featuring models who have been empowered despite being faced with health challenges. Our goal is to make this effort a yearly inspiration to the Denton citizens, as well as provide a great platform to showcase the clinic.

Our keynote speaker is Janet Paleo, who is the founder of Prosumer International, an organization that promotes being proactive despite having a potentially disabling condition.

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Social Hour with Raffle

11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Luncheon and Fashion Show
